3 week On Leash Package

At Some Minor Dog Training we require a 1 hour consultation prior to starting any program with us, our goal is help offer you the guidance and support that you and your dog to not only solidify an amazing relationship but also set you both up for success for years to come.

We want you to succeed, and have carefully designed our programs to give you and your dog everything you need to see progress, meet your personal goals and help your dog’s needs be met.

This means that we also supply everything needed for your dog’s success in training, and transferring that training back home. Your dog’s Board and Train program will come with any equipment or tools needed to ensure a smooth transfer and continued training once more. Often this includes training leash and/or collar, pet cot, with various individual care packages based on your dog and lifestyle.

Consultations

Volusia County, Florida Residents receive FREE consultations.

Florida Residents outside of Volusia county are subject to a travel fee based on distance.

Usually $50—150.

Scheduling Your Board & Train

After your consultation with one of our trainers we will schedule your pick-up date/start of your program.

Once your start date is scheduled you will have 72 hours to pay your Booking Fee to reserve your spot.

The Booking Fee is 20% of your full program, prior to discounts, and is non-refundable. This is to ensure that we have a time slot available for you, and that you are serious about the program. This fee will be deducted from the remaining balance at the start of your program.

If you do not pay your booking fee within 72 hours of scheduling, you will forfeit your position on our schedule and will be rescheduled based on availability once you are able to pay your booking fee.

As of January 2026 we are booking out two months in advance on average. We cannot hold Board and Train slots longer than 72 hours without receiving a booking fee.

The Remaining Balance

The remaining balance of your program is due at time of pick up.

The remaining balance of your program can be split into easy payment plans to be paid monthly.

Pick Up & Drop Off Fees

Volusia County, Florida Residents - None. This is included in the cost of the program.

Florida residents, outside of Volusia County- $100-300+ depending on distance.

What To Expect With Our Board & Train Programs

Once the financial portion has been appropriately arranged and its time for your dog’s pick up.

• We will pick your dog up from your home.

  We require dogs to be sent with copy of up-to-date vaccinations paperwork.

  We require owners supply 4 weeks worth of food for a 3 week program.

• Your dog will stay in your trainer’s home as one of their dogs.

We do not have a facility, so we have limited space, and only take a few dogs at a time.

• Your dog will get 24-48 hours to adjust to our home and routine.

• After this adjustment period we will begin posting pictures on our Pupdates FaceBook page.

• We do our best to post at least one update every other day for every dog in our care.

These posts are not only quick glimpses at your dog’s progress and condition but also a great way to look back over different training approaches we used for your dog once your dog goes home. We outline what we have been working on, why and how.

We encourage all of our potential clients to check out our Pupdates page to get a better feel for us, our training approach and to join our wonderful community; many of our clients love being involved and supporting our other clients on this page. We love having a wonderful dog-friendly community of clients and friends in our wonderful pack.

• We will drop your dog off at your home at then end of the program

  This will take 1-2 hours to teach you how to practice and maintain your dogs training.

  Take home session also includes all training equipment and tools necessary for successful training transfer at no additional cost.

• We will schedule a follow-up session for 2 weeks after drop off at the time of our drop off lesson.

  Even though we schedule this appointment for 2 weeks after drop off, we still offer support during this time. We encourage our clients to contact us if any issues arise so that we can walk them through it over the phone or we can schedule a time to come out prior to their follow-up session to help ensure successful transfer of training and comunication.

• We will continue scheduling follow-up sessions for every two weeks for 3 sessions.

  We want you to be successful, and even though that ends your sessions, we are happy to walk you through troubleshooting issues over the phone or online. We also have additional training support and tune up options available after completion of this program.

• Approved Graduates will receive 1 FREE Month of Support Classes
